  • Date:8 Apr 2021
  • Doors open:19:30 hour
  • Start:20:30 hour

In 2019 Remy van Kesteren did a theater tour with ARO (Analogue Robot Orchestra).

Together with the designer and builder of these electronic rhythm instruments, Jurjen Alkema of Blauwe Uur, Remy has worked hard last year on more, better and slightly different. The evening with Remy and his ARO will be devoted to own compositions and covers, accompanied by the enchanting visuals of Blauwe Uur, which will transform the walls of the concert hall or the theater. A new musical journey with this special instrumentalist.

From the Conservatory to world-famous orchestras to the club - harpist Remy van Kesteren's journey is one of beautiful music and faraway corners. After many honors and awards in classical music, the young musician got itchy. His love for the classical repertoire is great and remains a basis, but he spends his spare time at pop festivals and live concerts in clubs.

That is why the harpist decided to make pop music as well. This brought him an album produced by British producer, songwriter and DJ Fink. Six months after the release of his album "Shadows", the harpist releases a number of covers from Radiohead and Rosalía, among others. The electronically produced tracks are released worldwide through his own label and picked up in countries such as the US and China. Remy is then invited to perform at 3FM and interviewed by KINK, rock radio in the Netherlands.

Please note: the price does not include € 2.85 transaction costs.

This show takes place in HAL8.

This show is a production of Cultuurstad Theaters.
